Fantastic! We travelled from Pickering to Whitby and stayed over for the night, travelling back the following morning. The steam train experience was exceptionally relaxing and we enjoyed a few red wines as we experienced the North Yorkshire Moors in a completely new way. Well worth the money. We travelled at the end of October during the week so it was fairly quiet.
Simply the best steam railway in the UK with by far the best views across the North Yorkshire Moors.
Good place for walking
Fantastic experience, as a family we all enjoyed ourselves just glad we had York Passes as would of been to expensive. Trains and carriages were amazing and its an experience that will live with ourselves and kids forever.
