Stayed for 3 nights on our way up to Whitby. Lovely level site. Nice walking area for your dog and spotless toilets and showers. Will definitely be back.
Got back last night from a weekend stay. Left day early due to the weather. There is nothing to dislike about this site. The owner are lovely, Angela spent a lot of time Sunday night explaining how they run their farm. It was so interesting. The site itself is brilliant. Generous size pitches (which I commented on to Angela) Toilets and showers are fantastic. (We nicknamed it Cow farm ) As everything is cows. The scenery is great and not far from anywhere in each direction. The Hole of Hocum The moors, Goathland, Whitby and Sandsend. The other way, Levishham, Pickering and Dalby forest. What more could you want. We have been there on lots of occasions and will keep going back as we are always made welcome. Thank you Angela, Trevor and your lovely family for all our great stays.
Great family run site facilities very clean things for kids to do will be going again
Just got back yesterday from an amazing 6 nights here. I have to say this is by far my favourite campsite we've found. Angela and Trevor are so welcoming and friendly and the whole site is spotlessly clean and tidy. If you're going, I'd definitely recommend you ask to see the cows being milked. It's a one off and a real eye opener to the workings of a dairy farm. The unisex shower and toilet block is a wonderful idea, and we all loved the themed cow toilet seats, shower curtains and mirrors. And the kids learnt loads about the cows with the fun facts on the wall above the washing up area. A true sign of a well looked after site is looking up in the toilet block, and hand on heart, I did not see one spider or cobweb. We've already said we'll be back next year. Can't wait!
We turned up without booking, had a look around and seen allot of the animals only to be informed that they were fully booked due to a local concert. Such a lovely lady owner who did everything she could to help without us actually staying. Will definitely be back to this wonderful site. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
