Only 11 pitches on this site, amenities could do with an upgrade but all in all, a lovely private site in a great area. Would go again.
Nice site even tho there was a car dealership garage next door and he was jet washing his cars in the morning. Never saw the owners even when they said we will see you in the week. Toilet and shower was really cold when you got out of the shower. Will go back but on the other side of park.
Lovely little adults only site. Toilet block clean an tidy. Owners when met were very nice. Pub nxt door very nice. An enjoyable week.
Just back from a 3 day break at this site...what a fantastic place to stay. Small, clean, peaceful with spotlessly clean facilities. Short walk to the village where you find a pub, chippy, shop and buses to Pickering and Scarborough. The owner, Chiara, is very friendly and does her utmost to make your stay a good one. We will definitely be back....
The site is clean and well set out and the toilet/shower facilities are clean and have all you need. The owner is friendly and sociable. The only problem we had was with the dogs on site which were left to wander off lead and one in particular allowed their dog to do their business on site in view of all on more than one occasion. Will we go again? Yes definitely will as you cannot blame the site for the behaviour of certain dog owners.
