Park ok but was much better 10 yrs ago before they moved it
It was great with all the snow. Perfect for building snowman.
Great outdoors kids enjoyed it. Only downside is the forestry trust charging so much to get in then to buy maps.
camped here for an event, the area is so well looked after, with play park, numerous picnic spots, if one place is busy its easy to find another which isn't. Gruffalo trail and many other trails close by, such a great escape from everything. Yes car park/access is/was 9 per car but its worth that for what is on offer here.
Really well organised venue for gigs, it was very relaxed. Can bring your own chairs and drinks and they also have free parking (it does take a bit of time to get out after). You can park further away and walk back to your car and beat the traffic.
