I went to this chip shop in the evening and the chips tasted and looked like they were old and from the afternoon the sausage in batter weren't much better and had hardly any batter on it I don't know about everone else but the whole point of having a battered sausage is to have crispy batter on it but each To Their Own I suppose
Excellent fish and chips. The large fish is huge! And the chips portions are generous too! Nice friendly counter service. Recommended.
Fabulous cod and chips and the best curry sauce (the mild version) that I've only found here since my local chippy closed. I visit my mum in Pickering every couple of weeks and it's our go to place for a super tasty tea. All cooked fresh to order...So a bit of a wait but we'll worth it and HUGE portions too !!
An amazing wee fish and chip shop. A bit of a wait, but only cos its made all fresh, it is so worth the wait though! I would have a picture, but it smelled and tasted too good for that!
We had fish and chips from here on two occasions on our recent trip to Pickering. The portions were a good size and the fish was delicious. The spicy curry sauce is definitely worth a try. The staff were friendly and offered some entertaining banter. One evening we took our chips to the sun inn and ate in the garden (youre allowed to bring your own food ). Id thoroughly recommend that
