Great little campsite with a large main field and smaller top field. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the toilet block was 100 times better than most UK campsites offer.We visited as a group with children, who loved being able to go directly into the 'forest'. There was also enough space to play and not disturb other campers. The site is relatively close to pickering and it also provides easy access to Dalby forest. I would definitely recommend Bank Top.
Nice place to camp but overly strict with rules. Nice facilities with provision for disabled. Over all a nice place but as I say overly strict. Camping is supposed to be fun, not overly regimented.
This is a long overdue review of one of Yorkshires best hidden gem camping and caravan sites. We have been coming here for many years and never tire of this wonderful peaceful location. The showers, toilets and general facilities are simply immaculate, some of the best you will find anywhere and I really mean that. The site has very well maintained grass pitches, most with electric hook up, all with stunning North Yorkshire views. I have avoided leaving this review for a long time now as I would really like to keep it just for myself and the many regulars who return again and again, however I feel this is unfair and the time has now come for me to highly recommend Bank Top Camping to as many people as I possibly can.
What an amazing quiet camp site. The owner, Caroline is lovely and keeps the amenities in the best of condition and is always spotlessly clean. Campers are not squashed in and the rates with electric hook up are reasonable. We'll worth a stay. Thank you Caroline for another lovely stay this summer.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful peaceful setting. Immaculate facilities block. Dog friendly. And sunshine every time we go there. What more could anyone want.
