Oldie world type of teashop with lovely irresistible cakes,
Oh my, the best Gelato this side of the alps. More flavours than you can shake a waffle cone at. But the sugar free chocolate is a must try. The other food is damn good too, but it's the Gelato that's the main event.
Lovely little cafe with lots of options for a simple English lunch. They did a dairy free sandwich for me too. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly and accommodating staff. They also have a good range of drinks that have a different twist to them. I would visit again.
Had afternoon tea for my sister's 50th. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The sandwiches were freshly made and packed with fillings, melt in the mouth mini quiches, warm fruit scones with ample cream and jam, delicious mini desserts and as much tea as we could drink! We all thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks Dotties!
What a gem! Lovely savoury menu and the gelato is to die for with constantly changing amazing flavours, all made by the third generation owner. Zoe is passionate about her business and the connections to family which are beautifully displayed along with other thoughtfully arranged vintage items in the upstairs tearoom. If the weather permits then to sit outside in the charming courtyard area is a joy.
