I have called Andy to ask if we could have my wife's birthday there. Not only he said yes, but we had a plan sorted literally on the spot within 5 minutes! They sorted absolutely everything, all I had to do was to turn up. It was fantastic. My wife loved every minute of it and nothing was too much of an ask.If you want a great experience, go here!
We were booked in for 8.30 last orders Friday dinner. We got really lost in the beaitiful surrounding countryside and ended up getting there for 9. Really lovely landlord kept the kitchen open and fed all 5 of us. The food was delicious the welcome was warm on a windy rainy night and the locals were very friendly. Top night will hopefully pass this way again for another visit. Thank you.

What a great pub. Lovely home cooked food and a warm welcome from the Staff and all the Local regulars. Has enhanced our stay at Pan Cottage and just across the road!
Had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Middleton Arms today. Roast chicken, steak and ale pie and pork, apple and stuffing pie were all really good. Veges lovely - fresh and well cooked. Generous servings. Lovely puddings - rhubarb crumble, treacle tart and custard really delicious. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
