Bit disappointed . Shower cracked so would of leaked . Kitchen tap broken. And once bed was stripped a not nice stain on it. Went for breakfast at the caf on site and was served uncooked eggs .This was a gold cabin as I upgraded from a silver. Wish I didn't upgrade. I stayed in the silver before and feel it was far better. I believe it was over priced. For what you got ( read small print don't just book)
Cabins are amazing, perfect place to just get away and relax!
Cabins nicely laid out and the staff are friendly but other than a hot tub on the small veranda the isn't really a lot to do you without leaving the site.
Sadly on our last visit we were dispointed with the kitchen and lounge area which was in need of a deep clean. No cleaning equipment cooking utensils missing coffee machine under the sink broken problems with the patio door locking. Otherwise beding and laundry clean. Lovely pleasant staff but not enough to clean on change over days. Disappointed that my email to the booking office for forest holidays ,so far no reply received these are not cheap breaks for 2 people.
Get away from it kind of place. Lots of forest walks from 0.8 miles upto 15 miles. Good dog walking place. Cabin good. Only issue is no place to hang to dry towels and nowhere to put toiletries in shower.
