Great food, great service & a relaxed atmosphere, we loved it!
To call this an Indian restaurant is a crime. This place is a scam! My wife and I ordered a chicken biryani, lamb roganjosh, pilau rice, naan and raita. The biryani was nothing like biryani at all. It was some odd mixture of rice, peas, cucumber, chicken pieces and lettuce! And it came with an even stranger yellow vegetable curry of some sort, that didn't taste of anything at all. It was even lacking in salt! The raita was just plain yogurt with a couple of slices of cucumber, and the yogurt didn't even taste like yogurt. The worst dish was the lamb roganjosh - this was atrocious! It was a couple of pieces of lamb in a bowl with a ton of tomato pieces straight out of a can! Absolute scam!This restaurant would not survive a week in a place where people actually knew what Indian food is supposed to taste like. If the owner had any decency at all, they'd either close up the place or look for a chef who actually knows how to cook Indian food.
Booked for 16 of us to celebrate my 50th. Arrived to table ready complete with birthday banner and balloons. As it was the week before Christmas I was very impressed that they had done this for me.They didn't rush us and had a full evening in the restaurant talking. Food was excellent too. They even provided cake and candles at the end of the night and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" . Staff polite and friendly and price was good too. Will definitely be back especially for special occasions and with a large group.
Third time we've been here and had a great meal. I had chicken jalfrezi and my wife had the noyon special.
