Staying at Keldy Cabins on our mini-moon. Amazed at how nice it is up here (from Midlands) we thought we should find a good route to walk and get out there. Have never really been in to walking and have no suitable kit, so thought we better find at least some proper shoes/boots.Got to give these guys a 5/5 as they were great! We have never even stepped foot in this kind of shop before so walked in not knowing where to start! The 2 guys were very friendly and focused on helping us out, yeah of course you can spend a lot of money in here as they do the top of the range gear too but they weren't pushy at all they understood we were new to it. Can't remember the guys name but the bloke who we saw explained everything about the types of shoes/boots and socks and helped so much, he even recommended a great butchers and hand made chocolate shop which we went to. He also grabbed a map and suggested a couple of walks which we are trying today...
